OPEN HOUSE EVENT: Housing Resource Open House on February 23rd in Decorah

Increasing access to affordable, quality housing has long been a top priority for the City of Decorah and economic development officials. UERPC has resources that can help low- to moderate-income homeowners maintain their homes.

These two organizations are coming together to provide information about existing and potential future resources to address housing sustainability at a public open house for UERPC Housing resources.

EVENT DETAILS: Tuesday, February 23 5:30-6:30 pm

IN-PERSON: At the Decorah City Council Chambers
**Masks and social distancing are required**

Any member of the public is welcome to attend, though some funding sources may only be available to Decorah homeowners.

Job Opening-Community Housing Coordinator

Upper Explorerland Regional Housing Authority is hiring a Community Housing Coordinator. This position will work under the direction of the Housing Department Head and Community Housing team to facilitate administration of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Section 8 program under contract with Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission and HUD Housing. This candidate should have good organizational and communication skills. The candidate must have strong attention to detail, ability to organize work, determine priorities and meet deadlines, manage, and work harmoniously with employees and interact with the general public in a tactful and courteous manner, good verbal and written communication skills and maintain a valid driver’s license. Upper Explorerland offers a full benefit package including health insurance, dental, vision, retirement, short term and long-term disability.
