Regional Planning Affiliation 1 (RPA-1)/Upper Explorerland Transportation Policy Board is seeking applications for federal-aid Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) funding and Transportation Alternatives (TA) Set-aside funding.
Approximately $2.5 million is available in STBG funding, and $336,000 in TA Set-aside funding. Applicants may apply for STBG funding in federal fiscal year (FFY) 2029, while applicants for TA Set-aside funding may apply for any year from FFY 2026 to FFY 2029. All projects that are eligible for TA Set-aside funding are also eligible for STBG funding, and applicants may apply to both programs.
Applications will be accepted beginning January 31, 2025, and are due by February 28, 2025.
