It saves money and time, and since its introduction over two decades ago, it proved to be the ideal software for companies and businesses of all different types and sizes. If you plan to start a company or you already have one, QuickBooks is a must-have software for any business. It really simplifies and streamlines accounting, tracking and reporting, and for the most part, guarantees that the process of managing your company finances will be much easier.
Northeast Iowa Business Network (NIBN) — including the county economic development offices of Allamakee, Clayton, Howard, Fayette and Winneshiek, Northeast Iowa Community College and UERPC — will be offering four-session QuickBooks trainings in two locations, Cresco and Elkader:
Cresco Session
- Location: Cresco NICC Center- 1020 2nd Ave SE, Cresco, IA 52136
- Dates: Feb 20, Feb 27, March 5 and March 12
- Time: Each session will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Cost: $50 for the entire four sessions
Elkader Session
- Location: Alpine Communications- 923 Humphrey St, Elkader, IA 52043
- Dates: Feb 22, Feb 29, March 7, and March 14
- Time: Each session will run from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Cost: $50 for the entire four sessions
Nina Taylor with New Horizons will be instructing the classes. New Horizons strives to meet the needs of the customer. That could range from offering supportive consultation to developing a business plan or doing freelance work on a customer-required project. Empowering the business owner to understand and control their business is very important. New Horizons will provide that understanding and be there as time requires for continued support.
With a degree in accounting, continued Fast Trac training by the Kauffman Foundation of Kansas City, MO, the Small Business Development Center and 30+ years of work experience, Nina provides knowledge on the importance of planning. As a Pro Advisor with QuickBooks, accounting, and payroll, services are provided as needed for individual businesses.
