Housing Choice Voucher – Rental Assistance Program

Regional Housing Authority

Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission (UERPC) administers the Regional Housing Authority, which oversees the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Rental Assistance Program. This program supports lower-income families by helping them access housing that meets standards for safety, sanitation, and livability.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the program provides rental assistance for eligible households in the private market. It is designed to reduce housing costs for qualifying families while allowing them to choose where they live.
