Turkey River Rocks!

On Saturday, August 11, 2012 you can experience the Turkey River with other community leaders and residents within the Turkey River Watershed. The cost is $20, which includes registration, float insurance, your evening meal and live music entertainment. Registration is at 8 a.m. in Elkader. After a short program beginning at 10 a.m.; the float will begin at 11:30 from Elkader to Motor Mill. Meal time is set for 5:00 p.m. at Motor Mill with live music throughout the evening!
 
At Elkader, Motor Mill and along the way, experts will discuss river history and ecology and conservation partnerships. The goal is to get everyone better acquainted with the natural wonders and economic vitality of the Turkey Valley.
